The Renault Talisman proves its outstanding agility in a parcour full of glass obstacles. The concept had to work as a film, but also for a live event, which added to the challenge. Together with the Italian production designer, I made sure the glass world reflected the beautiful and exciting Talisman design.
I started out with the idea of depicting 100 years of industrial glass design in the course of the driving parcour. The car would start between columns of 19th century crystal vases, pass through a maze of bauhaus walls and end in a modern city of light organic glass shapes.
My concepts went through several iterations, always in close touch with the production designers, who would actually build the parcour. I’m happy about how stylish the result turned out, and that a lot of great ideas made it into production.
The final product was a 30s commercial and a 230s accompanying film of the live event.
